Good Friday #606: No New Friends (Friday, August 17)

Do not close yourself off to the possibility of making new friends - no matter how old you are. Friendship is not defined by the length of time you know someone, but by the substance of the time spent together.

This weekend was everything I didn’t even know was needed thanks to my amazing friend @phreckles ! Confession: we met thru IG 2 years ago and became buddies because of so many common interests and likes. Comments became DMs which became texts and phone calls. Though she lives in NC, we talk about everything -personal and professional. We were both uber excited to go on our first trip together and as we predicted, it was perfection. This is my wife for life. 🤣😘 It goes to show, that even as you get older, you can meet new people who you vibe with and feel like you’ve been connected with forever.
