#325: It's All Good (Friday, March 22)
This week's affirmation: I'm grateful for the good in my life, but I will not let fear prevent me from going for 'the great!'
Most things worth having come with some level of (calculated) risk and sacrifice. You can coast along with the good, but are you really happy and fulfilled? If you cannot answer that question with a resounding "Yes!" it's time to go for the great.
You've been there before. Things in your life are...well, ok. No one's sick, no one's dying, you have a job, you have most of the comforts you need. So you feel guilty for wanting more--especially when people you know are existing (and happy!) on much less. You don't want to block your blessings by going for more. Who knows? Maybe this is what you're supposed to have.
STOP!
Most things worth having come with some level of (calculated) risk and sacrifice. You can coast along with the good, but are you really happy and fulfilled? If you cannot answer that question with a resounding "Yes!" it's time to go for the great.

#322: Crisis Builds Character (Friday, March 1)
This week's affirmation: "Challenges cannot defeat me. I have the power and the ability to manage through any situation."
You can tell a lot about a person by how they react to stressful situations. Some people thrive on it. Others are defeated by it. But I think crises build character. What a wonderful opportunity to move beyond what you think you're capable of!
We eat problems for breakfast (and lunch, and dinner...)!
