Self-care doesn't always have to be about "treating yo' self."
This week I'm most grateful for self-care activities that rejuvenate my spirit and help keep my sanity.

Everyone can make a difference in the world. This is how I'll make mine. Every Friday is Good Friday for me. Each week, I'll post a new idea that I've implemented in my personal life that I hope will positively impact the lives of others as well...How will you make your impact?

Hey, chica! Some of the non-luxurious things I do....
1. Go to Barnes and Noble, and wander the racks for hours...I sit down at the little Starbuck's cafe, order a venti caramel machiatto and chocolate chunk cookie, and read a book.
2. Go to the movies by myself.
3. Take myself to Friendly's ice cream parlor and order a patty melt w/fries...and finish it off with a hot fudge sundae (extra walnuts and whipped cream) (sorry about that diet! lol)
4. Stay at home and find all kinds of new music; no phone, no tv...just the music
